Bihar BPSC Exam 2021 : BPSC 66th Mains Exam is being conducted to fill 731 vacancies in various departments under the Government of Bihar. The 66th main examination will be held from July 29.
Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the date of 66th Mains exam and the schedule of examinations has been released. BPSC Mains exam will be conducted from July 29 to July 31. Earlier the examinations were scheduled to be held from June 5 but were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Candidates who qualify the Mains exam will be called for the interview round.

BPSC has also released the schedule of examinations. As per the exam schedule, General Hindi Exam and General Studies – Paper 1 will be held on 29th July. The first exam is from 10 am to 1 pm and the latter from 2 pm to 5 pm. General Studies- Paper 2 will be held on 30th July from 10 AM to 1 PM. On the other hand, Optional Subject Exam Nation will be conducted on July 31 from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Admit card will be issued soon
BPSC has issued a notice saying that the admit cards for the candidates will be made available on the official website of BPSC at bpsc.bih.nic.in one week before the date of examination. The candidates will have to download their admit cards from the website. At the same time, it has also been cleared that the admit card will not be sent to the BPSC candidates by post.
731 vacancies will be recruited in various departments
It is noteworthy that BPSC 66th Mains exam is being conducted to fill 731 vacancies in various departments under the Government of Bihar. Out of the total vacancies, 169 posts have been reserved for women.
Those who qualify the Mains exam will be called for the interview round
The preliminary exam was conducted on December 27 and the re-examination was conducted on February 14 in 35 districts across the state. The candidates who qualify the preliminary exam are eligible to appear in the mains exam. Candidates who qualify the Mains exam will be called for interview which will have a weightage of 120 marks. Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in main examination and interview.
